1.d4 Nf6 2.c4 g6 3.Nc3 Bg7 4.e4 d6 5.Nf3 0-0 6.Be2
I mostly play Bd3 but Be2 is played by most players and looks better. [6.Bd3 Nbd7 7.0-0 e5 8.d5 ]

6...e5 7.d5
[7.dxe5 dxe5 8.Qxd8 Rxd8 9.0-0 Never played this but from the looks, White is better and fritz suggested Bg5 instead of castling.]

7...Nbd7 8.0-0 Nc5 9.Qc2 a5 10.Be3 b6 11.a3
[11.b3 ; 11.Nd2 b3 or Nd2 is better, this will help me to open the a file and chase the knight away. Will be easier for me to have a Queenside attack.]

Better move was to play Nd2 to guard b3 square. I didn't see this move for some reason and didn't like the Knight on c5 because of the nice outpost on b3. Plus I felt that after Bxc5, the b file can open up after b3 or having a semi past pawn on the d file.

12.Bxc5 bxc5
My opponent says i'm totally lost in this position. I don't believe!

13.Nd2 Bd7 14.Rfb1
Idea is to open the b file and have a battery!

14...Ne8 15.b4 axb3 16.Rxb3 f5 17.f3
Fritz says with this move, Black stands better.

17...Bh6 18.Rab1 Nf6 19.Nf1
Guarding e3

Fritz: fxe4 is better, position equal.

20.Qb2 g5 21.Rb7 Kh8 22.Nb5 Ne8 23.Nd2
The Knight should stay at f1. At the time was thinking of bringing another piece into the game but not the right time. Instead and I agree with my opponent is Na7 and Nc6 is better.

23...Rg8 24.Nc3
again Na7 is better. Now I should focus on defending after this move.

24...Nf6 25.Bd1 g4
Fritz: Nb5 keeps it equal, Kh1 will hurt

26.Kh1 g3 27.hxg3 fxg3 28.Nf1 Nh5
I lost because of this move. Kg1 is recommended by Fritz. I like Ne2 better.

[29.Ne2 Qh4+ 30.Kg1 I should be able to defend this position.]

29...Qh4+ 30.Kg1 Be3+ 31.Nxe3 Qh2+ 32.Kf1 Nf4 33.Ke1
Qg1 is faster, said Fritz

33...Nd3+ 34.Kd2 Nxb2 35.Rxb2 Bxb5 36.R2xb5 Rxa3 37.Rxc7 Qg1
Fritz says I could live longer if Rb3 was played. Mate to come!

My last stand, aiming for the Black King and hoping for a blunder on Black side. Nomatter what I lost because of Nb5.

38...Qd4+ 39.Ke1 Ra1 40.Rxh7+ Kxh7 41.Nf6+ Kg6
and I resign. 0-1
