1.e4 e6 2.d4 d5 3.exd5 exd5 4.Bd3 This type of Exchange French is common in online play but I didn't think a 1900 player would play this when they could play more aggressive. [4.c4 Bb4+ I thought playing the exchange French would lead to this. In tournament play, the exchange would look like this.]
4...Bd6 5.Ne2 Nf6 6.Bf4 c6 7.0-0 0-0 8.Nbc3 Re8 9.Qd2 Bg4 10.f3 Bh5 11.Rfe1 Qc7 Maybe Bg6 is better because I could trade light square bishops right away instead of having his Knight.
12.Bxd6 Qxd6 13.Nf4 Bg6 Fritz liked Nbd7 better, because it connects the rooks!
14.Rxe8+ Nxe8 15.Re1 Nd7 16.Nxg6 hxg6 17.Qf2 Nef6 18.a3 a6 19.g3 b5 20.h4 Nh5 Fritz said that Black has a slightly better position but c5 is a stronger move than Nh5.
21.f4 f5 A Bad move according to fritz. Nhf6 is better. I now will lose control of e6 square.
22.Qe3 Nhf6 Having a feeling that I should of keeped my Knight on h5 and played Ndf6 instead. Fritz said the move I made was ok but Kf7 would of helped.
23.Qe7 Qxe7 Maybe avoiding Queen trade by Qc7 follow by Re8? Fritz agrees with Qc7 instead of trade.
24.Rxe7 Kf8 25.Re6 Rc8 26.g4 Kf7 I thought my better move was fxg4, Fritz says Nxg4 is better.
27.gxf5 gxf5 28.Bxf5 g6 Rc7 and I still think I have a game to play. This move should cost me the game.
29.Rxf6+ Kxf6 30.Bxd7 Rc7 31.Bg4 Rh7 I believe a5 is a good move instead of Rh7. Fritz likes Rh7 here.
32.Bc8 Ra7 Rxh4 is interesting. a5 is correct said Fritz.
33.Kg2 Since moving my Rook to a7, I have no real chance in improving my position and this will end up in a loss according to fritz.
33...a5 34.Nd1 Rc7 35.Bh3 b4 36.Ne3 bxa3 37.bxa3 Rb7 38.Kf3 Rc7 39.f5 I only see white is coming in for the kill.
39...gxf5 40.Bxf5 Rg7 41.Kf4 Re7 42.Ng4+ Kg7 43.h5 Rc7 44.h6+ Kh8 45.Ne5 c5 I think Kg8 is better but a slower loss.
46.dxc5 Rxc5 47.Nf7+ Kg8 48.h7+ 1-0
